I need more help! Where do I get it ?
If your question remains unresolved then you can contact our support team by sending an email to support@smscountry.com. The support is provided 24*7, and critical problems are given immediate attention.
Sometimes I receive a text message multiple times, Why?
This can be due to several reasons
- The operating system on some phones have "bugs" in them which result in them not acknowledging receipt of certain types of messages.
- It is likely that the destination network for that message is not handling the message correctly because internetworking fees have not been paid. In these instances, please write an email to us and we would make sure that it will not occur again.
Delivery Issues
Can I get delivery reports for messages sent via email to SMS?
Yes, for each email to SMS sent from the email address registered in the email2SMS settings, the status report on the website is updated upon delivery of the message.
Why is there a delay between sending a message and receiving the delivery report ?
While there will always be some delay between sending messages and receiving delivery reports this is usually for only a few minutes (or even seconds). These delays can be caused by problems such as poor network coverage (due to poor signal or high traffic) or handset failure (due to battery or a full message 'inbox').
I sent my friend an SMS and he/she did not receive it. Why?
Here are some reasons why he/she may not receive the SMS message that you sent to them:
- Your friend may not have text messaging enabled. This is something that is very common within the U.S. To enable text messaging, your friend must contact their mobile network operator.
- Your friend may have a pre-paid mobile account, and the balance is too low.
- Some mobile network operators have their own criterion such as Text Messaging Plans that allow a certain number of incoming/outgoing messages. So your friend may have exceeded his/her plan allotment.
- So if one of the following has occurred, your friend may not receive the message:
- The mobile device is "out-of-range"
- Memory capacity has been exceeded
- Subscriber 'busy' for short messaging
- The mobile number you entered is incorrect.
