Step 1: Visit the website

You have to visit www.smscountry.com, then scroll to the bottom of the homepage. You will find Bulk SMS solutions under services at the bottom of the page. Then, click on it.

Step 2: Locate SMS software

On the new page, scroll down to find the SMS software and click on more.

Step 3: Download the SMSCountry SMS plugin

You will see SMCountry SMS-Excel Multi-Language Plugin. You will click “click here to download” to download the file. When you click, the download starts. It should take only a few seconds. You can check the progress below the screen or go to downloads

Step 4: Extract the software file

Once you have downloaded the SMSCountry Excel SMS plugin, you must extract the files. Go to the folder and extract the software file. You can choose any location that you feel is convenient for you. The desktop is one of the most accessible places to extract it.

Step 10: Personalise your messages with hashtags

To personalise your message, you can add any column using the hashtag. For example, to add the recipients’ name in the message, select column A and click on add column to text.

To add the customised text messages for each contact, select column C and click on add column to text. This will automatically add the information from columns A and C to your text message. 

Step 11: Choose your recipients

Now, select the start and end row to indicate the number of recipients.

Step 12: Input the Sender ID

You can select the Bulk SMS sender from your Excel sheet. You have to add the sender ID from the drop-down menu. If you have your own ID, you could use that or the SMSCountry ID.

Step 13: Input your contact mobile number

Choose your contact numbers by clicking on the mobile numbers column. For example, the column is B. After inputting the contact numbers, click the send button.

Step 14: Confirm the delivery status

Once you send the messages, a notification shows the number of messages sent. You can either preview the messages by clicking on “preview” or send them directly. You can also check the delivery report status by clicking on the delivery report tab in the menu.
